Curious by nature, researcher by vocation, driven by passion

Hi there!

I’m Marie-Aude Sourd-Ramos, Senior UX/CX Researcher, Mentor and a serial community builder.

I have a genuine passion for data and a knack for leveraging it to drive product growth. Drawing from my diverse background in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Marketing, and Linguistics, I bring a unique perspective to shaping Business Strategy. I excel at bridging the gap between the Business and Design realms, and feel equally at home in both environments. With strong communication skills, I thrive in engaging with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers, ensuring a collaborative and productive environment.

In English, auf Deutsch or en Français, I translate any customer insight into an opportunity to create a delightful, useful, accessible and impactful design.

One profile, multiple dimensions

My non-linear career path gave me the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, both within UX and business development

Customer Intelligence meets HCI

Before delving into HCI, I dedicated 15 years to crafting customer experiences that drove business growth. My journey commenced in the front office of Business Hotels, where I learned how to turn customer feedback into competitive advantages. Later, as a Marketing Expert, I crafted communication strategies and executed growth-hacking digital marketing campaigns.

Community Builder and Evangelist

I am deeply committed to elevating UX maturity through knowledge sharing. Whether I’m leading workshops, spearheading an Accessibility Awareness Week, or leading panel discussions at conferences, my core emphasis is on encouraging the audience to view UX/CX Research as a chance for growth and learning, inclusivity, and expansion. Communication, for me, is the bridge that connects individuals to the true potential of Insights Management within the field.

Growth hacker with a twist

While I still draw on my business acumen to foster meaningful connections with clients and team members, my true passion lies in tackling complex business challenges, engaging with stakeholders, and guiding product teams toward a user-centered approach. As a lifelong learner, I continuously broaden my skillset, integrating principles from Behavioral Economics, Psychology, and Data Analysis into my UX research practice.

Teacher and Mentor

As a former career switcher, I intimately understand the challenges of navigating a transition into the intricate field of User Experience. Through my User Wizard Mentoring program, I’ve designed a structured journey encompassing four pivotal milestones. This program places a strong emphasis on cultivating substantial, practical skills rather than superficial knowledge, allowing mentees to not only adapt but thrive in this dynamic industry. It’s not just about switching careers; it’s about building a foundation for sustained success.

Driving growth with Insights, across countries, languages and industries: here are a few of the brands who trusted me with the development fo their products within Telecommunication, FinTech, Real Estate, HR, Pharma and SaaS Solutions.
